Week 226 ~ Shake It Up!

Guest Designer

Please meet.....

I live in a place called Strømmen just outside Oslo, the capital of Norway, with my husband and son (17).  Cardmaking and scrapbooking have been one of my favourite things to do since 2005. I love my distress inks, Tim Holtz - scissors and seam binding ribbons and I am also addicted to beautiful patterned papers and different kind of stamps.
I love to do different styles of card making. I am easily bored if I have to do the same kind of thing for a long time. If I have made something cute I have to make something else next.

I get inspired by blogs, magazines and patterned papers. I am easily inspired and I like to clean up my workspace before I start a new project.

I also love the theatre and have been acting, producing and directing plays most of my life. When I was young, I studied to be a photographer so I love to take pictures. I also like interior design. I love to tell a story and express feelings and I think that all my work is influenced by that. Some people tell me that they sometimes can feel the theatre  and drama in my paperwork. I also like to teach, so I do a lot of scrapbooking and cardmaking classes.

I really like to work in my craft room in the late evening, and I am often so engaged in my project that I go to bed much later than I mean to. We have some really nice radio-programs in the evenings, that I love to listen to while I am working.

You can visit my blog here: www.papirverkstedet.blogspot.com

Have a wonderful day!

You are in for a treat today as our Guest not only make one shaker card but two lovelies here, why don't you hop over to Synnove's blog to see more details of her lovely work!

Guest Designer

Please meet.....

Dawn Barwick

I live in Brittany, France with my lovely husband, our little girl and our cat called Pusscat. We also have chickens and my husband keeps bees. We moved here 7 years and began renovations on our house and what a project we took on. It was originally an old stone cattle shed with only four walls, no roof, no 1st floor and no internal walls. It’s just about finished and I love it!!! I am a stay at home Mum and I love to craft, bake, blog and take care of my family. I began crafting when I met my husband before I moved to France. I started crafting simply, using a readymade topper and a peel off and I love how my crafting has devolved from there.

What a sweet one Dawn, thank you for being our guest this week.
Please stop by Dawn's blog for more of her lovely work!
