City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 305 - Whitewash

Hi Everyone! This is Marina, and I've chosen this week's challenge:

Whitewash

We'd like you to use something white on your project - for example, white paint, ink, pen or spray..... but white card or paper doesn't count!

I hope to see you linking up your whitewashed projects.

~Marina~

Cammy Wall

Hi there!  My name is Cammy and I'm happy to be here guest designing with City Crafter Challenge!   I come from a large family of creative people -- from ceramic painting to sewing to making ornaments.  I found my creative vein first with scrapbooking and then stamping after my daughter was born.  I absolutely love it!  I can do clean & simple or lots of layers!  Both make me happy!  I currently serve on the design teams for From the Heart Stamps and Kennedy Grace Creations.  I'm fortunate to have a very supportive husband and a pair of kids who also like to dabble in paper, ink, stamps, glue and a sequin or two!   Thanks so much to the City Crafter DT for having me this week!  I'd love for you to visit me at my blog -- Pink Room Therapy!

Marie (Bailey Rosy)

I’m a jewellery designer and shop owner living in beautiful Thessaloniki Greece , Im originally from the UK but after falling in love on holiday in Crete with my husband Teo 32 years ago we married and  moved here two years later and have been together ever since . Who says holiday romances don’t last ! I’ve been making cards since 2011 after searching for something totally un- related on the internet and came across the silhouette cutting machine, I fell in love instantly and bought the machine on the spot without having a clue what I would use it for.

Within a few months I had accumulated a massive hoard of stamps inks and paper and started my blog baileyrosy.com.  I have met so many amazing people as a result of this hobby which has now become a way of life for me as I now design the packaging and window displays for my jewellery shop .

Although I love all types of mediums techniques and styles my first love has to be clean and simple  , I especially love making shadow boxes which is what I will be sharing with you today.

I was was so pleased and excited to be chosen as the winner at City Crafter and look forward to seeing your wonderful creations for this challenge.

Amazing!!!!
Please stop by Marie's blog for more of her beautiful work!

Hi my name is Veerle and I live in a rural area in Belgium.

I’m 48 years old and as long as I can remember I have been crafting one way or another.

I was always bussy creating I’ve always had a very vivid imagination a real day dreamer too.

Wrote little stories as a kid. But card making is kinda new to me as I only started card making in 2013.

It started with ready to make kits just putting everything together you know.

Then added embroidering and 3D images. On august 29th 2013 I published my first blog post thanks to a friend who

made a blog for me and from then on it all went fast, very fast. I started searching the net for new techniques added my own

twists. And in october 2014 I gave my first workshops on a hobby fair and this past february on the big craft fair in Antwerp I had my very own boot.

In the mean while I also give workshops at home. Crafting is my everything and I love to make my own backgrounds.

I just love to start with white paper and make everything myself. It has been a speedy journy so far and who knows what else the future has in store

for me. I also have the honour of being DT for 3 different teams and I love being on the teams.

Thanks for watching and I wish you all a lot of crafting fun.

Veerle

Thank you so much for two beautiful cards Veerle!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 302 ~ I'm Working on my PhD

Hello crafters, I don't know about you, but I often started a project, and then lost my mojo, so the project would sit somewhere in my craft room, often time, I have more than one project lying silently with tears in a dark corner......

So, today I am working on my PhD (Project Half Done), will you join me please?

Dig out a project that was half way done and complete it!

~ Kirsty

Hello! My name is Evy and i'm a teacher/crafter. I live in a small town in the east of Belgium. I'm single, but that makes it much more easier to hord craft-supplies ;-) I've been drawing since the moment i could hold a pencil. Cardmaking is something i've learned, when my little sister had to make her own Christmas-cards with tea-bags at school. I went from tea-bags to 3D, from 3D to stamping, and haven't stopped making cards ever since.

I like experimenting with all kinds of techniques and materials an love watching you-tube-tutorials. There's only one thing that 'll never change: i like lots of color!

I'd like to thank the amazing DT for having me this week as a guest designer! If you want to see more of my cards, come and visit me: http://artsandeve.blogspot.com Can't wait to see all of your creations!

Such beautiful work Evy!

Please stop by Evy's blog to say hello!
