Liz Carvill

Hi, I'm Liz and I live in the West of England.  I was delighted to be invited as a Guest Designer for the City Crafter Challenge this week.  I’ve enjoyed a variety of crafts over the years, but making cards is what I enjoy most now.  Many years ago, I visited a local craft fair where I saw a Lacé template being used to make cards.   From then on, I was hooked!  My favourite style is CAS and I particularly like to use embossing folders, stamps, dies and punches.   I also like to experiment with different folds.  I run an after school scrapbooking/card making club with a friend for six and seven year olds in the school where I used to teach full time. We started the club over ten years ago and we have as much fun as the children!

Hi, I'm Lisette and I live in Sheffield, England. When Kirsty invited me to be a special guest designer I wanted to cartwheel all around the room! I’m delighted, and of course extremely honoured to have another opportunity to have a spot, this time for a longer period. I’m particularly excited as it coincides with what is my favourite time of the year. Yes reader I am just crazy for Christmas! I've been blogging for just over a year and have loved every minute. My ambition is to work full-time in the crafting world in some way. In my day job I work for a charity that trains people to set up healthy cooking clubs and to get people cooking good food from scratch. I was previously a primary school teacher and also had a long spell working for the BBC. I've been married for over thirty years and have two grown-up (well sometimes!) sons. All three men in my house are very good at putting up with my crafting mess! I look forward to sharing my projects over the next few weeks and hopefully making lots of new crafty friends.

Hi there! My name is Marzena but known as "Macarena" and I am extremely happy about being the Guest Designer here at City Crafter this week!!!
I live in Poland with my teen son and a big british shotrhair :-) I am a full time working girl as an export manager and love to spend my evenings on scrapping. That is the best relax after any hard day at work.
