Week 163 ~ Clean and Neutral

Guest Designer

Please meet.....

Hi, I'm Lisette and I live in Sheffield, England. I am excited and honoured to have been lucky enough to win a guest designer spot for the second time. CCCB was one of the very first blog challenges I ever discovered with one of the friendliest teams and followers in blogland.  I've been blogging for almost a year and have loved every minute. My ambition is to work full-time in the crafting world in some way. In my day job I work for a charity that trains people to set up healthy cooking clubs and to get people cooking good food from scratch. I was previously a primary school teacher and also had a long spell working for the BBC . I've been married for over thirty years and have two grown-up (well sometimes!) sons. All three men in my house are very good at putting up with my crafting mess!

Look what Lisette created for you

Please pop over to Lisette's blog and leave some love

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 163 ~ All about HIM!

Father's Day is coming soon, so at City Crafter Challenge Blog this week is

All about HIM

It can be a card, layout, mini album or gift. It doesn't have to be related to Father's Day as long as it is a masculine project

Jinny Newlin

My family and I live in a small suburb of Kansas City, Kansas, just over an hour and a half north of where I grew up.  I am a former, kindergarten teacher turned adoring wife to BJ and stay-at-home, homeschool mom to a smart, spunky, almost ten-year-old Ezekiel and a vocal, tenacious, four-year-old Adina.  When I’m not taking care of or playing with my family, you can find me cooking, baking, gardening, camping, sewing, taking pictures, blogging at Soaring, and of course, paper crafting.  My love for the latter started, over twelve years ago, at a Stampin’ Up workshop; but I have been creating with any and every form of crafting media, that I could get my hands on, since I was old enough to hold a crayon.  I’ve been honored to have had a number of published works of art, as well as to get to design for some of my most favorite manufacturers, and am just thrilled to be guest designing with the likes of the talented City Crafter Challenge Blog ladies today.  I hope that I can inspire you all to get creating.

Just look at this FABULOUS project created by Jinny

If I were you, I would hop over to Jinny's blog for more loveliness!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 162 - Pride and Prejudice

Hello, it's Wendy hosting this week. Have you read Pride and Prejudice or one of the other novels by Jane Austen? P&P is written 200 years ago and this year there are several festivities to celebrate that. I thought it time to celebrate it here at CCCB too! For this week's challenge I'm asking you to make a project inspired by Jane Austen. It doesn't have to be related to one of her novels, it can be anything you feel like it fits in the Jane Austen theme. I'm thinking Regency fashion, bonnets, laces, you name it. I'd love it if you tell us in your blogpost about your Jane Austen moments/love, but please don't feel obliged.

Happy crafting!

~ Wendy

Please meet......

Hello, I am Juls " The Glitter Chick" I think I have been a crafter all my life, ever since I can remember I have loved paper and pens, sticking and glueing!! I have tried so many crafts, sewing, knitting, cross - stitch, crochet, cake decorating ... I took art at school. About 10 years ago, my mum bought me some bits and pieces to make cards, and I have not looked back ... a little shoe box turned into a craft room bulging at the seams. I had to sacrifice my craft room for the arrival of my beautiful daughter who is now a year old, so I have now been banished to the loft!! I love escaping there when I can and just creating.

I am so honored to be asked to join the lovely ladies here at City Crafter, thank you for having me.

Here's the lovely project Juls created for us

Pop over to say hello to Juls
