Welcome!!!!!!!

I am so excited.....

and can't wait to tell you....

City Crafter Challenge Blog

has a new DT

WELCOME!

Stella is a long time friend of CCCB, I've invited her to join our team and she said YES!

Hooray!!!!!

Here's a little bit about Stella.

Hello! I am Stella Schenkel and living in Groningen; located in the northern part of the Netherlands (Europe). Working at an insurance company, married with Marcel and mother of two grown up sons. I started cardmaking in 2006 and my style has changed a bit over the years. From attemps to create shabby cards I turned over to  cards with a CAS or modern  twist. And from time to time with an elegant accent.  I have a place in my heart for all shades of blue; from dark blue till aqua and pale blue. Stripes, polka dots, stars, sequins and twine are things that love to use on my cards/projects.

I am excited to join this incredibly talented team. I feel honored and I hope that we all can be a source of inspiration for you to join our challenges!

Welcome once again Stella!
we are so happy to have you on board!

Please meet.....

Pamellia Johnson

Hello Everyone! My name is Pamellia Johnson and I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my wonderful husband and our two little girls, Scully (a teacup Maltese) and Pebbles (a teacup black Pomeranian).

Creativity runs in my family, so it's no surprise that I enjoy crafting. I have been crafting in some form or another ever since I was a little kid, thanks to my very creative and talented Mom. I've dabbled in all sorts of crafts, but I think my true passion is making handmade cards. I enjoy all sorts of styles, but I think my favourite is shabby chic! I love the soft muted colours, the big shabby bows and the frilly laces.

Whenever possible, I try and make every aspect of my projects by hand. I prefer to make my own backgrounds and flowers, I dye my own ribbons, I even make some of my embellishments out of clay. I find such a sense of accomplishment in knowing that I made it myself.

Thank you so much to the City Crafter team for inviting me to spend the day with them. I am thrilled and honoured to be here with such a talented group of artists for this wonderful challenge.

Thank you Pamellia, we are thrilled to have you as our guest as well!
Please stop by Pamellia's blog, you will be amazed by her beautiful work for sure!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week # 227 ~ I See Clearly

Hi Everyone! It's my turn to pick a theme this week and I thought a current trend would be fun!
So how about some vellum! It's been around forever and it's popularity come and goes, but it's back again and there is so much you can do with it! How about a vellum flower, or a card overlay? Use a paper crimper and crimp your vellum, you can emboss on vellum. There are lots of ways to use it, so come play and I can't wait to see what you create!
