City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #48 ~ The King and I (city - Monte Carlo)

Hey crafters, this week we are going to Monte Carlo - a city-state (independent sovereign state located between the foot of the Southern Alps and the Mediterranean). Monte Carlo is widely known for its casino and Formula One Grand Prix. If you have been to the Le Grand Casino, the amount of expensive sport cars parked right outside is quite a scene. I personally think that Glamorous Monte Carlo is a place fit for a King, or Queen, or Prince and Princess, so here you go, our challenge this week is "The King and I", we want to see crown(s) in your project, it could be embellishment, charm or paper, so get going......

Guest Designer
I am happy to introduce you all to this week's Guest Designer - Carol Quance

Here's a little about Carol in her own words: Hi, my name is Carol. I live in the Cotswolds in the UK and work in the local hospital as an administrator. I've been making things ever since I was a child. One of my favorite things to do was making clothes for my troll (remember those?) If I don't make something regularly I start to feel twitchy lol! I love to try different techniques and different styles. Currently I nearly always end up with lace somewhere on my creations. More recently and as a complete contrast, I've been experimenting with journaling and love the free and easy way you can splash around with paints and create wonderful bright backgrounds. I find crafting is a great way to relax after a busy day and it really switches your mind off from the daily grind.
