Hi! My name is Charlene (Char) to everyone :-) I am so excited and honored to be guest designing for City Crafter Challenge Blog! Thanks so much for having me!!!!!

I live in Northern California. I'm a mother of 2 grown kids and a grandmother to 2 beautiful granddaughters ages 2 and 4! I started making cards 2 1/2 years ago and have been hooked ever since! I've had the privilege of meeting some wonderful and talented friends in the scrapbook world!

I'm not sure what my exact style is but my cards are always referred to as "cute" and I also love shabby! Although I enjoy clean and simple cards I have trouble making them... I keep piling on the embellishment :-)

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #66- It's A Shore Thing

Hi all! It is Cheryl back with this week's challenge...and one thing I know for "shore" is that I LOVE THE BEACH! I was born and raised seven blocks from the beach and I'm pretty "shore" that at least a little bit of salt water runs in my veins. You can take the girl away from the beach, but you can't take the beach away from the girl...no matter how far I live away from it, it is still a part of who I am. So we are celebrating the beach this week with our theme, "It's A Shore Thing"! Your challenge is simply to create any beach related project. I "shore" hope you will join us!! I don't know if you know this or not but i live here in the desert where the SUN can be brutal... so when I was trying to come up with a theme for this week's challenge that was all I could think of. So that is what I went with...
